About AmeriTech College
Established in 1979,
AmeriTech College offers a practical learning experience and an introduction to the most demanded skills of today. It offers various programs and degrees in dentistry, medicine, nursing and more areas related to healthcare. The programs are specifically designed to cater to the requirements of current employers and so ensuring a successful future for its graduates.

Students studying at
AmeriTech College have the option of sitting for the national certification program examination. If they wish to become Certified Professional Coders (CPC), they can take the exam offered by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). Alternatively, if they wish to become Certified Coder Specialists (CCS), they can take the exam offered by the American Health and Information Management Association (AHIMA). The cost of the exam can be included in the college fee.

Accreditation
AmeriTech College receives recognition and accreditation from the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). The ABHES is a nationally recognized accrediting agency and has affiliated itself with the college since 1984.
Ameritech College Online Programs
Currently, the
AmeriTech College offers online programs leading up to an associate applied science degree in Medical Billing and Coding and a diploma in Medical Billing and Coding. The online programs are designed to encourage participation and interaction between the students and faculty while building a proper academic base in healthcare billing and coding practices. In addition to this, an online degree allows for flexibility in the study schedule, which can be adapted according to the needs or circumstances of a student.
Available in an asynchronous format, graduates will receive the associate’s degree in applied science after completion of the mandatory 60.5 semester hours consisting of 75 weeks.
Financial Aid
Qualifying students may apply for federal financial aid to fund their studies at
