Pharmacist

A pharmacist is responsible for dispensing prescription medications to patients. You can become a community, clinical, consultant, or pharmaceutical industry pharmacist. These professionals may also teach and advise students, patients, and healthcare providers on the use of medications.

Data from BLS shows that in 2014, there were 214,000 pharmacists working in the United States. Of that, 111,000 were women. Pharmacists also made median weekly earnings of $1,995.

Nurse Practitioner

Nurse practitioners are professionals who provide advanced nursing services to patients. They may specialize in a particular aspect of healthcare such as pediatric health.
