Business Informatics Center

Founded in 1983 to meet the need for hands-on computer training, the Business Informatics Center offers quality training programs in computer, secretarial, management, as well as accounting skills.  It also offers programs for those who are interested in pursuing a career as a medical office assistant. The school provides its students with all the relevant modern resources which help enhance their learning experience.



The Business Informatics Center is conveniently located at the southwestern tip of Nassau County bordering on NYC. It offers educational opportunities through concentrated, highly-structured programs that prepare students for entry-level positions in a number of fields.

Students can pursue programs in court reporting and computer office Technologies. The school is a member of the NYS Court Reporters It offers a variety of interdisciplinary  programs, several financial assistance options, job placement assistance and flexible schedules.

Faculty

The faculty of Business Informatics Center includes industry experts as well as the NYS Supreme Court Reporters. They are committed to student success and making sure that students are provided with all the tools, resources and guidance that they need to in order to achieve their educational and professional objectives.

Business Informatics Center Programs

The Business Informatics Center aims to provide a curriculum that reflects the requirements of a changing job market. Its programs help students acquire the skills that may help them in their professional pursuits as well.

The Business Informatics Center offers programs in court reporting and computer office technologies, both leading to an associate degree in occupational studies.

Financial Aid

As the Business Informatics Center aims to make its programs within the reach of all, it has designed a comprehensive financial aid program. If eligible, students may benefit from a wide variety of financial aid options such as grants, student loans etc. Federal Pell Grant Program, Direct Subsidized Loan, Direct Unsubsidized Loan and Direct plus Loan are some of the awards available. Students can also apply for the New York State Tuition Assistance Grant Program.
