Major Requirements for Bachelors in Arts in Communications
Students are normally required to complete 48 units. 24 units must be completed in any of the major fields of specializations, 12 units for elective minor courses, 12 units for compulsory university requirements and 12 units of courses offered in any general field. Most universities require a grade point above 2.0 at the time of graduation.
Masters of Arts in Communications
Students can do a further specialization in communication studies by completing a masters program after their bachelors of Arts in communications. They have the option to specialize in Professional Communications or Mass Communications Research and Theory.
Admission Requirements
Good universities require a minimum GPA of 2.5 - 2.7 for admission in Masters in Communications. Students should have passed GRE and must possess degree in bachelors in Communications from a reputed institute.
