Scholarship and Loan Options

• Johnson & Johnson Promise of Nursing Scholarship
  This scholarship is aimed at students whare pursuing a degree in nursing. This program grants $2500 for studies and is valid for students studying in Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Mississippi, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Washington only.

  This is a need based scholarship sponsored by the American College of Healthcare Executives. It is given tstudents whbelong ta minority background and are pursuing a degree in healthcare management.
  


• Gates Millennium Scholarship

  This scholarship program is funded by Illinois Department of Public Health. Applicants must be resident of the Illinois state. Students aspiring a career as a nurse, physician assistants, nurse midwives or physician can apply for this program.
  


• US Army Health Professionals Scholarship Program
  This scholarship program is sponsored by US army. It is a 100% scholarship program that covers all the academic expenses of students enrolled in degrees of medicine, dentistry, veterinary sciences, optometric or clinical and counseling psychology.
  


• Nursing Student Loan Program
  Students pursuing a degree in nursing can apply for these loans. These are low interest loans that can be given back after a grace period of six months following the date of graduation. A student can get up t$ 4000 for every academic year.
  


• Primary Care Loan Program
  Students pursuing a degree in any filed related top medical sciences can apply for this loan. Primary care is a non credit loan program. Primary care loans can be returned after a grace period of twelve months following the date of graduation.
  


• Loans for Disadvantaged Students
  These loans are low interest and ncredit based loans sponsored by the Department of Health and Human Services. Students with a social or financial disadvantaged background can apply for this loan.
  


• Truman Scholarships
  Students enrolled in the junior year of an undergraduate program can apply for a Truman scholarship. Truman scholarship assists a student during his /her career in graduate school by aids up t$30,000. 
  


• Stuart Wesbury, Jr. Postgraduate Fellowship
  Stuart Wesbury, Jr. Postgraduate Fellowship program supports students whwant tpursue a degree of PhD in health care management. The funds granted through this program are around $44,000 per student
