Northeastern University is a research educational institution located in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts, U.S. Northeastern University was created in 1898 as the Evening Institute for Younger Men at the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA). The main aim of the educational institution was to serve the academic needs of the newly arrived immigrant population of Boston. The academic institution is currently being led by Joseph Aoun, who is serving as the university’s seventh president. The university is well-known around the world for providing quality undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate co-op degree programs through its regional campuses and various distance-learning methods.
