Located in Northfield, Virginia, Norwich University is one of the country’s leading military and cadet training schools. The private university was founded in 1819 as The American Literary, Scientific and Military Academy but since then has gone on to become the oldest of the six Senior Military Colleges that are recognized by the American Department of Defense.
