The school offers programs in European Medical Massage Therapy which is non-invasive in nature and has emerged as an extremely effective technique in treating and preventing stress, injuries, and illness. SOCHi has a adopted a practical approach to teaching the concepts of medical massage as it helps students learn the material and how to apply it as well. Students are provided with a chance to learn popular Eastern modalities such as Thai and Shiatsu Massage as well

SOCHi not only believes in educating but it also seeks to inspire its students. This is why it has inducted faculty that has strong ethical values besides technical skill. The instructors provide students with education that helps them enhance their profiles. The faculty includes industry professionals that have a passion for their profession as well as the desire to share their experiences and knowledge with the students.

Southern California Health Institute Programs
SOCHi provides a number of programs that prepare students as massagetherapists. Students can learn various massage techniques, with a focus on Russian Medical Massage. They are able to develop an insight into a number of categories of massage including sports massage, Thai, hot stone, Shiatsu, acupressure, reflexology and chair massage. The physical therapy aide/sports rehab program and personal fitness trainer/health & wellness professional programs are also available.

Financial Aid
SOCHi offers financial aid to eligible students. Funds are available in the form of federal grants or federal loans such as federal subsidized loans, federal unsubsidized loans and federal parent plus loans. Through these funds, students can improve their ability to meet the expenses at SOCHi and focus on their training rather than worrying about meeting their educational expenses. To apply for financial aid, students need to file the FAFSA application.

Both grants loans are available to students. Though the interest of student loans is very low, it is best to apply for grants first and in case students need to get more financing or if they do not qualify for grants, they should explore student loans.

Accreditation
Southern California Health Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award certificate-based credentials. ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
