University of Maryland, Baltimore County, commonly referred to as UMBC, is a public, research-intensive university located in Baltimore County area. The university is an integral part of the state University System of Maryland, and is run as an independent university under the charter of the state schools system of Maryland, U.S. The university was founded in 1966, and has since been offering quality undergraduate and graduate level degree programs in natural sciences, engineering and liberal arts.      

Student Enrollment

University of Maryland, Baltimore County currently has over twelve thousand students enrolled in its various undergraduate and graduate degrees. Some ten thousand highly dedicated students enroll in the school’s popular undergraduate degree programs every year. Three thousand students choose the Maryland based educational institute to study for their desired master’s level degree qualifications.
